Window cleaning robots: fit and operation

Check each pane

Record glass size, frames and access. Compatibility with a framed vertical window does not establish compatibility with frameless, inclined, textured or jointed surfaces. The manual must permit the surface and orientation.

Power is part of the setup

Distinguish mains operation from backup battery support. A backup battery may retain attachment during a power interruption without powering a full cordless cleaning cycle. Check cable reach and routing.

Retention and retrieval

Follow the manufacturer’s required retention, anchor and recovery system. Sensors do not remove these instructions. Check whether you can comfortably place and retrieve the device from each pane.

Pads and cleaning results

Dirty pads and unsuitable cleaning fluid affect results. Read limits for borders and corners. If you want to eliminate manual finishing, check the actual coverage claim.

Make the practical decision first

Assess a repetitive, accessible surface before choosing by feature count. This category explains buying criteria; commercial models need verified specifications, market compatibility and offers before inclusion.
